Team Trump launching ‘Truth over Facts’ website to ‘investigate’ Joe Biden ahead of 2020 US election – The Sun

DONALD Trump's election team has launched a true crime-style website poking fun at Joe Biden's numerous gaffes on the campaign trail.

The website is called 'Truth Over Facts' which is a phrase used by the presumptive Democratic nominee at a rally in Iowa in August.

Hosted by Trump communications chief Tim Murtaugh the series promises to examine the "incomprehensible statements” made by Biden during the campaign.

A promo video, which has a humorous tone, features the ex-Vice President appearing to suggest that British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was a former US President.

Biden did qualify the statement saying he was “joking” during a televised debate with other Democratic candidates.

However, the 77-year-old candidate, who Trump has branded “Sleepy Joe”, has twice mistook recent UK leader Theresa May for the late Margaret Thatcher.

The video also shows Biden attempting to recite part of the US Declaration of Independence before fumbling his words.

He said: “All men and women are created…you know the thing.”

SMEAR CAMPAIGN

In recent months, the Trump campaign has attacked Biden over his son Hunter's business dealings and a sexual assault allegation made by former Democratic staffer Tara Reade.

Meanwhile, polling data released by RealClearPolitics yesterday showed the Democratic candidate is leading the Republican by 4.5 points nationally.

Trump's campaign has stuttered because of the Covid-19 outbreak which has killed nearly 92,000 and infected more than 1.5 million people in the US.

In another example of his negative the discourse of US politics has become, Donald Trump Jr posted a baseless meme on Saturday calling Biden a “pedophile.”

The president’s son shared the post on Instagram that showed an image of the Democratic candidate stacked on top of an image of an alligator.

“See you later, alligator!” the photo of Biden appears to be saying — while the alligator quips back: “In a while, pedophile!”

Trump Jr later tweeted the three “laughing” emojis he used in the post’s caption “should indicate to anyone with a scintilla of common sense that I’m joking around.”

“If the media doesn’t want people mocking & making jokes about how creepy Joe is, then maybe he should stop the unwanted touching & keep his hands to himself?”

The tweet claiming the post was a joke also included several pictures of Biden posing with children at White House events.
