Mystery as ‘skinned demon’ carcass leaves woman baffled after she finds horror remains in back garden – The Sun

A "SKINNED demon" carcass has left a woman baffled after she found the horror remains in her back yard.

Kelly Garrahan posted pictures of the shrivelled corpse on Facebook in a bid to find out what the mystery creature could be.

Her request sparked some bizarre theories, ranging from a banana peel to a "chupacabra" – a blood-sucking monster.

Others said a dog was a likely candidate.

In her post, Kelly, of Titusville, Florida, compared the animal's size with several objects including an air freshener can.

It has a long snout and tail, teeth, an elongated torso and finger-like appendages with claws.

It's body, it doesn't even look like something I've ever seen

Baffled Kelly told Click Orlando: "Its body, it doesn't even look like something I've ever seen.

"I just want to know what it was, I'm new around her and I was like I don't know what kind of animals Titusville has."

Kelly's post has attracted over 100 comments, with some people likening the remains to an alligator or monitor lizard.

But one user spotted whiskers on its face and believed it could not be a reptile.

'ALIEN'

Kalee Rachael' wrote: "It really does look like a chupacabra!"

User Stephen Wright joked: "It's an alien."

Kelly said she sent the photos to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for an expert opinion.

The organisation said the animal was just a dead opossum.

But Kelly now wants it removed as it "smells so much".

It's unclear how long the animal had been rotting away on her property.

Kelly said on Facebook that because her property is so large, she doesn't travel to the back of it every day.
