Poundland have set pulses racing with their new range of sex toys, aptly named the ‘Nooky’ line.

Twitter users joked that they were ‘buzzing’ after the cut price retailer, where products famously sell for just £1, announced they had launched a ‘Bonkin’ Bunny’ vibrator ahead of Valentine’s Day, priced at £5.

The name appears to reference Ann Summer’s famous ‘Rampant Rabbit’ line, where prices are four times as high, ranging from £20 to £150. 

The popular chain store revealed that the code word for the titillating toy  is ‘Justin’, which shoppers can quote at the till to save any embarrassment.

Taking to Twitter this week, Poundland wrote: ‘Just in! The code word if you want to ask for one when it’s behind the till is ‘Justin’  #JustinBeaver’.

And followers couldn’t contain their delight at the unexpected addition, flooding the thread with surprised tweets.

Joking about the potential embarrassment at buying a Bonkin’ Bunny, one follower wrote: ‘Waits for self-service till to shriek ‘Unexpected item in bagging area’.

Another added: ‘Bar code doesn’t scan so attendant shouts ‘how much is the purple vibrator’ across the tills lol’.

Elsewhere customers remarked on the appearance of the toy, with one writing: ‘Looks like it’s flipping me off’, and another adding: ‘Looks like a dolphin flicking a V-sign!’.

Remarking on the sales assistant’s upbeat attitude, one customer joked: ‘So now we know why the till staff are smiling thought you had a bee infestation when I popped in.’

Another said: ‘ Five pounds you say!…what will you do for a tenner?’.

The purple vibrator boasts a a 7.2inch shaft along with two vibrating ‘ears’ for extra stimulation.

It looks remarkably similar to Ann Summer’s ‘Rampant Rabbit’ vibrator, which is bright pink with similar vibrating ‘ears’ to the the front, and retails at £30.

The retailer’s extensive Nooky range also includes the so-called ‘Playful Bullet’, ‘Nooky Joy Ring’, ‘Nooky Lube’ and ‘Vibrator Love Ring’- all priced at a delightful £1.

The retailer first launched the range in 2017 and it now boasts over 14 products, including energy-enhancing pills and a pleasure ring, lowering the cost of adult fun.
