KFC is giving away free festive burgers this week  – but there’s a bit of a catch

To celebrate the launch of its all-new festive menu items, the Stuffing Stacker Burger and Stuffing Tower Burger, KFC has created the first ever ‘Sleigh Thru’.

At selected KFC restaurants across the UK, the first 50 customers to go through the ‘Sleigh Thru’ dressed as Santa this week will nab a free Stuffing Stacker Burger.

Customers will have to go all out – a Santa hat on its own will not do – they’re expected to be in their best Santa getup. 

However, if you’re not lucky enough to be amongst the first 50 hungry customers, don’t panic – the limited edition burgers are available on the Christmas menu both online and in-store. 

The fried chicken chain has teamed up with football legend Chris Kamara, who’s traded in his football boots for Santa boots to launch the festive experience.

Chris Kamara said: ‘Being Santa is hungry work, so KFC has come to the rescue with its all-new Sleigh Thru experience, to satiate all the Saint Nicks out there with its finger lickin’ good chicken!

‘I was delighted to channel my inner Kris Kringle to road-test the first ever Sleigh Thru and try the epic new Stuffing Stacker Burger! 

‘So, if you’re game for some holiday magic, don your best Santa gear and head down to the nearest KFC Sleigh Thru to grab the limited-edition Stuffing Stacker Burger on the house’.

The KFC drive thrus have been given a festive facelift, adorned with finger lickin’ chicken decorations.

The Stuffing Stacker Burger is available from £7.99 and the Stuffing Tower Burger from £6.49. 

Meanwhile, gravy lovers rejoice, as KFC is also offering limited-edition Gravy Double Bucket for £23.99 and the Gravy Triple Bucket for £28.99.

The Sleigh Thru will be available at select drive thru restaurants: KFC Slough (Farnham Road), KFC Manchester (Trafford Retail Park), KFC Glasgow (Pollokshaws Road) and KFC Swansea (Morfa Shopping Park). 

Locations in Slough, Manchester, and Glasgow will be running on Tuesday December 12 and the Swansea location will be running on Thursday December 14, both from 12-5pm.

The Sleigh Thru will only be operating in certain locations across the UK

Don’t panic if you don’t live near a Sleigh Thru, you can still get your hands on the festive burgers online or instore at KFC

This comes after fans of the fried chicken restaurant hailed their stuffing burger as ‘next level’, after the brand shared its Christmas menu earlier this month. 

The Stuffing Tower Burger features an original recipe fillet with sage and onion stuffing, spicy cranberry sauce, cheese and burger dressing in a brioche bun.

Anyone who is feeling particularly peckish, and willing to consume a burger the height of a cathedral, can take on the Stuffing Stacker burger, which contains an extra piece of original recipe chicken.

Posting a video where he tries the burger for the first time on TikTok, Luis Corselli can be seen taking a bite, before he exclaims: ‘Oh my god! That is unreal’.

Mr Corselli said the meal tasted ‘like a roast dinner’ and labelled it as ‘next level’ in the caption of his clip.
