Kate Middleton debuts new lob haircut as celebrity hairstylist says it’s ‘perfect and on trend’ – EXCLUSIVE

Kate Middleton’s hair has been the envy of women all over the world thanks to the bounce and glossiness of her mane.

But during her Irish tour the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new hairdo that may be the shortest style she’s ever had since becoming a royal.

Kate, 38, showed off her lob during her and Prince William’s tour of Ireland while in County Meath, and had everyone talking about her new luscious locks.

Celebrity hairstylist to the stars James Johnson exclusively told OK! online why Kate’s new look is such a hit.

James said: “Kate’s hair was cut by Joey Wheeler. It’s a real statement cut, showing that mums can be on trend too.

“It’s the right length for dressed up or dress down, and still long enough to be tied up if needed for her mum duties.

“The style helps frame her face, showing off her beautiful features – perfect for the change into these upcoming summer months.

“The relaxed style is bang on trend, perfect for the natural movement fashionable at the moment. Less is more and Kate is showing us how it’s all done.”

Fans of the beautiful royal were also quick to praise her stylish locks, with one person tweeting: “Kate Middleton's new lob cut looks gorgeous!”

A royal fan tweeted: “I love Kate’s new lob. It’s literally beautiful on her and so cool looking.”

Kate has been quite the hit while on the Emerald Isle and stunned in a magenta dress during an evening engagement in Dublin.

However, she won most praise for her decision to recycle her clothing by wearing a coat she debuted 12 years ago.

Kate opted for an elegant look as she stepped out with her husband Prince William on the second day on their official tour of Ireland.

Leaving the green outfits behind for the second day of the tour, Kate looked classy as she wrapped up in a light cream double-breasted coat as she visited the Jigsaw National Youth Centre for Mental Health in Dublin.

And, it was revealed that she was in fact wearing the OLIVIA coat by Reiss, which she first wore on her 26th birthday in 2008.

The stunning Duchess was pictured in the coat which is no longer available to buy at Reiss, however, they do have a ‘move on’ and refreshed take on the style for spring/summer 2020, named the PIXIE trench.

The PIXIE trench, which is very similar to Kate’s coat, is a pleat detailed coat available in all sizes, for £385.

Described on the site, Reiss say: “The Pixie trench coat comes in a fresh-stone hue and is a contemporary take on a classic wardrobe staple. It's finished with traditional tailoring details; peak lapels, button fastening and a double-breasted silhouette.

“Pair this style with crisp shirting, tailored trousers and sneakers for a modern take on workwear dressing.”
