A third added: “I’m pregnant so you can’t arrest me” but you can jump a women with her kids witnessing .. Vile Vile,’ while a fourth agreed: ‘Vile people. You can just imagine how that poor kid is going to be dragged up.’

In the last five years Wiltshire has experienced a 63% increase in offences committed by women.

While the episode followed the police as they dealt with this female crime wave, it was one particular story that caused outrage online.

At 4pm on Christmas eve, the police control room received a worrying report.

‘In the car with me was my three children,’ recalled Olawumi. ‘I’d gone to church. ‘I was coming from the main road and they were coming out of the side road.’

‘The lady stuck her finger up at me and when I went to the cash point, she came out and got in my face and started screaming and shouting. They were speaking very racially.’

Recalling the attack, a teary Olawumi explained: ‘The lady was kicking and punching me. I was in the corner, so I held her two hands and said, “I’m not going to touch you, because you’re heavily pregnant”

Outraged viewers were quick to take to Twitter, with one writing: ‘Fighting at 8-9 months pregnant, wow!’ (pictured)

But with the perpetrator seemingly about to leave the situation escalated.

‘The lady was kicking and punching me,’ continued Olawumi. ‘I was in the corner, so I held her two hands and said, “I’m not going to touch you, because you’re heavily pregnant.”

‘I wouldn’t expect that sort of violence from a woman. I was fighting for my life, but more importantly, I was worried sick for the children.’

‘I could hear the kids crying, and I was praying for one thing, “Don’t come out of the car to save me.”‘

‘You would want your own safety, your baby’s safety. I don’t think she was thinking about that at all. God help that child, I can tell you.’

James and Hazel were both convicted at court. James received an eight week suspended sentence and a community order, Hazel was just issued with a community order.

One shocked viewer took to social media and penned: ‘Fighting at 8-9 months pregnant, WOW!!’ while a second commented: ‘Wasn’t too concerned about her unborn child when she was attacking that poor lady.’

A further added: ‘Pregnant and wanting to fight. What an an utter b**** of a woman.’
