Mrs Hinch fans share miracle 38p hack which instantly clears black mould from washing machine seals

FANS of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have shared a hack to get rid of black mould from washing machine seals – and it costs just 38p.

One woman took to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips and Tricks group on Facebook to ask for advice, writing: "How do I get rid of this mould in the washing machine door seal?

"Washer isn't that old even. It’s rank. I run a clean roughly once a month.

"Makes the inside sparkly but doesn't sort the rubber.”

And fellow cleaning fanatics were quick to answer and offer their advice, with many of them suggesting leaving kitchen roll soaked in bleach on the seal overnight.

"Soak kitchen roll in bleach," one person wrote.

“Lay it over the affected area and leave overnight. Worked on mine perfectly.”

"I run a little bleach around mine and cover with cling film," another wrote. "Comes up brand new, I do this overnight.”
