Lisa Snowdon, 47, has a £1k ‘laser facelift’ to fix her ‘problem’ double chin in just 30 minutes

LISA Snowdon has undergone a "laser facelift" to help combat her "problem" double chin.

The presenter, 47, said she was left with a "supermodel jawline" after having the non-surgical treatment following the use of various "potions and lotions" that failed to work.

Brunette Lisa, who’s engaged to George Smart, admits she’s always looking for ways to help reverse the signs of ageing, and was looking for something that would tighten her jowls.

She underwent four sessions of the celebrity-loved Strawberry Lift, which combats double chins and works to define the jawline and contour the cheekbones.

The former model said the 30-minute laser treatment, which costs £1,000 for four visits to a London clinic, was "painless" and she saw "instant results".

She said: "I’ve always found that my chin area is my problem area and I am constantly on the lookout for new treatments.

"I was intrigued how something that is non-surgical and needle-free could give such strong results especially when I saw that it was pain-free too.

"I think everyone wants something that can lift and tighten their skin when they get older and I am always open to trying things that help with the signs of ageing."

The beauty treatment uses fat-zapping and ultrasound technology to sculpt the face and neck area – with results seen in as little as 12 minutes, with the entire session lasting 30 minutes.

The skin is penetrated by the laser, which blasts fat cells so they spill out their water, glycerol and free fatty acids in a process called lipolysis.

Lisa said there’s no "downtime, so you can go in your lunch break and go back to the office with a new supermodel jawline", adding: "There was no pain whatsoever!

"For the first part of the treatment you sit for around 12 minutes with a warm chin device which is what helps to get rid of fat around the jawline and chin area.

"Then you lay down, they apply some gel onto your neck, jawline and cheekbones and the ultrasound section begins – this takes about 15-20 minutes.

"Then they cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin and you’re ready to get on with the day!"

Lisa said she saw immediate results – which last up to 18 months – and even her makeup artist commented that the TV presenter’s face and neck looked more toned.

And she revealed her beauty bag secrets.

Lisa, who writes a beauty blog called You Glow Girl, said: "I love Medik8 products and Dr Perricone as well as oils and serums to keep my skin hydrated.

"I always cleanse every morning and evening.

"My at home skin routine is something I enjoy doing and I regularly use masks and I adore LED light treatments.

"I also use jade and rose quartz rollers and the Qu sha, all sorts of facial implements and toning devices as they help to release tension in my face and are good for lymphatic drainage around my eyes when I feel a little puffy.

"It’s lovely to keep these in the fridge so when you apply to your skin they are really cold and refreshing."
