I'm a hair expert and people are always complimenting my hair – there are nine rules I live by to help it grow strong

IN THE last year, people have put aside fashion trends and expensive makeup to focus on the health of their skin and hair.

A hair expert recently revealed the nine rules she lives by to make sure her hair is super healthy and strong.

Haircare expert Nandini is often envied for her shiny and long locks – but now she has revealed just what she does to make sure it stays like that.

She first explained in a video that she uses rosemary oil one to two times a week.

Rosemary oil has been claimed to better the blood flow in the scalp, therefore helping people grow their hair long and strong.

Additionally, she massages her scalp with the oil once a day, showers with lukewarm water, opts for heatless hairstyles as much as possible, and locks in moisture by using hair oils and serums.

On top of that, she only uses microfiber hair towels to ensure there's no breakage when she steps out of the shower and uses a satin or silk pillowcase to sleep.

She also attributes her stunning hair to getting regular trims and adding plenty of nuts and dried fruit to her diet.

But making sure to not abuse your hair with tight hairstyles is key to growing it out.

In fact, a hairstylist revealed the right way to put your hair up in a ponytail and give it tons of volume.

Hairstylist Amber-Rose Peake showed the amazing trick that gives her an elevated look each time.

In a TikTok video, she first split her long hair in half and tied it up to create a half-up look.

Once that half was secured with a hair tie, she then grabbed the loose bottom part of her hair and split it in half again.

Using both pieces, she lifted them up to wrap around her half-updo and tied them on top as well.

The hairstylist spread the top part so it would cover the bottom one, and voila!

She was left with a stunning high ponytail with plenty of volume.

Amber-Rose then added in a comment that she always made sure her hair was voluminous by blow-drying it upside down.

This would lift the roots so they didn't look flat.
