Congratulations to the happy parents, Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt!

On Wednesday, the Backstreet Boys singer and his wife officially welcomed their second child, a baby girl, People reports.

As of now, Carter has not yet posted about the baby news on his social media OR revealed her name. But according to a rep who spoke to Us Weekly on the couple’s behalf, “Mom and daughter are doing great.”

And the little one already has an older brother in three-year-old Odin Reign Carter.

The announcement comes just one day after the 39-year-old artist shared he was “starting to get emotional” about the newborn’s arrival alongside a video of Kitt’s sonogram on Instagram. See (below):

He also shared one of Lauren’s stunning maternity shots, which you can ch-ch-check out (below), too:

Yay! How sweet!

For those who also didn’t know, the Carters first met on a blind date in 2008, got engaged just five years later in 2013, and officially tied the knot in 2014. Now, with their latest addition, their family of four feels just about complete!

Earlier this year in May, the poppa of two revealed his wife was expecting with a rainbow-filtered Instagram photo featuring his son, Lauren, and her growing baby bump. At the time, he wrote:

“Thank You God for giving us the greatest gift we could ever ask for ?. #pregnant #werepregnant #babykisses #happiness #family”

Nick’s reveal was surely good news as it came eight months after Kitt suffered a miscarriage back in September 2018. Carter previously opened up about the pregnancy loss on Twitter. He penned:

“God give us peace during this time. I was really looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. I’m heartbroken.”

The House Of Carters star went on to cancel a scheduled concert in Peru to observe time for mourning.

The Dancing With the Stars alum was also transparent about their family’s fertility struggles when he competed on the dancing competition show in 2015. In a pre-taped interview video, Carter told viewers the couple were expecting their first child, but that it had been a difficult journey, revealing Kitt had miscarried a baby at 16 weeks along.

“It’s been rocky, to be quite honest with you. There have been times when we thought it wouldn’t happen.”

We’re so happy to hear these dark days are behind them and send our well-wishes to mommy and daddy as they raise their bundle of joy.

But we can’t help but wonder what Aaron Carter is thinking right now, too.

As we reported, a judge ordered the embattled star to stay 100 yards away from Nick, Lauren, and sister Angel Carter as part of a domestic violence restraining order against him. The legal action came after the I Want Candy singer allegedly revealed he had “thoughts about killing babies” and “thoughts about killing Lauren Kitt.”

So, it’s safe to say AC won’t be invited to the hospital to meet his niece. Tough luck!
