Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Mark Dad Robert’s Death Anniversary With Emotional Tributes

Both the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars attach throwback photos with their late father in their tribute posts, with Kim sharing a photo of her and Kourtney kissing him on the cheek.

AceShowbiz -Monday, September 30 marked the 16th anniversary of Robert Kardashian’s death. In honor of their father, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian took to their own Instagram accounts to pay an emotional tribute to their late father.

Both sisters attached a throwback photo of them with their dad in their own tribute posts, with Kim Kardashian sharing a picture of her young self and Kourtney kissing Robert on the cheek. “Miss you Dad. Can’t believe today would be 16 years since you went to heaven,” the KKW Beauty owner wrote alongside the caption. Khloe Kardashian commented on the post, “This is such a beautiful photo! I miss him every day!”

Meanwhile, Kourtney’s photo featured her looking adorable in a pink overall over a matching T-shirt. Robert could be seen wrapping his arms around her as he flashed a smile to the camera. On the other hand, the Poosh founder looked somewhat confused. Just like Kim, Kourtney also expressed how much she misses her dad in the caption of the post as writing, “I miss him so much doesn’t begin to describe it.”

Later, she shared on Instagram Stories a painting of Robert that was hanging up in her home. This time, she left the photo captionless.

Robert passed away on September 20, 2003 after battling with esophageal cancer for two months. Ever since his death, the Kardashian family often makes sure to keep his memory alive. Earlier this year, both Kim and Kourtney paid touching tribute to him to mark what would have been his 75th birthday.

While Kim shared a photo of her receiving a car for her 16th birthday, Kourtney posted a photo of Robert accompanying her to the father-daughter dance. “Father daughter dance 1993. Happy Birthday to the best daddy I could have ever imagined,” the eldest Kardashian sister captioned the post. “Your love shines through all of us and we feel your protection.”
