CNCO admit Little Mix crushes but are ‘respectful’ of their boyfriends

Confessing his crush, Christopher said: ‘They’re dope and gorgeous too,’ while Joel chimed in: ‘We’re very respectful men we didn’t do anything. They’re taken.’

Glad to hear it. Leigh-Anne is in a serious relationship with Andre Gray, Perrie is dating Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jade is coupled up with Jed Elliott, while Jesy just recently confirmed her romance with Love Island star Chris Hughes.

Sorry boys.

Zabdiel recalled their X Factor performance with Little Mix which meant they had to get a little closer than close.

The popstar said: ‘Some of their boyfriends were there and there was a part where we had to be a little closer, we were like “oh”.’

Oh, indeed.

The groups got on like a house on fire when CNCO were last in London, with Little Mix showing them around town – and the clubs.

Joel revealed: ‘We like to party lots and they do. We went out with Leigh-Anne and Jade, we partied [hard]. It was a crazy night. A great first impression.’

Christopher added: ‘We would love to collaborate with them again but right now we’re focusing on our new single Pretend and it’s out now.

‘We’re just dropping singles and focusing on our tour right now.’

CNCO were created on the TV competition La Banda, produced by Simon Cowell and Ricky Martin, in 2015.

It’s a similar story to One Direction, another of Simon Cowell’s boy bands, formed on The X Factor.

And naturally, CNCO are taking notes on One Direction and all former boy bands who came before them.

Richard explained: ‘We saw the movie and how they developed, we were all fans and still are fans.

‘For every boy band that there was – N*Sync, Backstreet Boys – little things like the way they got along in interviews, we take away and apply to this group.’

He added: ‘I feel that’s what’s kept us so communicated along the whole road and will take us far because we’re very ambitious and we like to take constructive criticism.’

Sounds like they’ve got it all figured out.

Of course, there’s another boy band taking over the world at the moment – erm, BTS, in case you were wondering.

But CNCO aren’t sweating the competition and, in fact, are loving the K-pop scene right now.

Joel explained: ‘We don’t look at it as competition because we’re trying to better ourselves and not trying to be better than other people. At the end of the day we’re all doing music and we all love what we’re doing. We all support what they’re doing.’

‘There’s other K-pop bands that we’ve seen too like XO, Pretty Much, Why Don’t We, but we don’t see it as competition.’

Erm, fanboy alert.

Joel continued: ‘A lot of people look at us like we’re trying to compete with boy bands but we support each other and we’re all doing what we love.’

CNCO have topped the US Latin chart twice with both their albums – 2016’s Primera Cita and their eponymously-titled 2018 record – and are in the midst of a world tour.

Grateful for their success, Joel said: ‘Thanks to the fans now we’re living our dream.’

CNCO’s new single, Pretend, is out now.
