Who are Maya Millete's parents?

MAYA Millete was a California woman who went missing in early 2021.

Her husband, Larry Millete, was arrested for her murder in October 2021.

Who are Maya Millete's parents?

Maya's parents are Pablito and Noemi Tabalanza.

In May 2021, Maya's parents filed a petition with the court to seek visitation with their three grandchildren.

In September2021, Maya's husband Larry filed a nine-page declaration in Chula Vista family court in which he accused his in-laws of alleged child neglect and alcoholism.

“He's going guns blazing and trying to come up with every reason he can possibly think of to say that this visitation is a bad idea,” San Diego family law attorney Anton Georghiou, who is not involved in the case, told CBS8.

“It's very over the top. I've been doing family law for over a decade, and this is one of the most aggressive declarations that I’ve read in a while,” said Georghiou.

When did Maya go missing?

On January 9, 2021, Maya was officially reported missing.

She was last seen on January 7, 2021, where she spoke to her family from her home in Paseo Los Gatos in San Diego County.

Maya's phone activity stopped on January 8.

Her brother went to her home to try and locate her but she was not there despite all her belongings and cars still being at the house.

Maya's phone was also left remaining in her San Miguel ranch neighborhood and her sister later reported her missing.

She had not been seen since two days prior when she was last seen in South Bay.

They report it as an active and ongoing investigation and ask for the public's help in locating Maya's body.

Police searched the home and vehicles on the 10th and 11th, and on the 12th, Larry allegedly told officers he feared for his wife's safety.

On January 21, 2021, Maya's family reportedly hired a private investigator.

Someone in her family anonymously told Fox News that Maya allegedly told them "If anything happened to me, it would be Larry."

Maya's brother-in-law, Richard Drouaillet, last saw her just days before she went missing.

According to him, the couple's marriage was plagued with problems.

When was Larry Millete arrested?

The Chula Vista Police Department arrested Larry Millete on October 20 for her murder.

Authorities announced it wrote 67 search warrants in the case. 87 individuals were also interviewed as part of the investigation.

The department reviewed over 130 tips from the community and around the country in Maya's case.

"We cannot bring Maya back, but we can bring justice," said San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan.

District Attorney Summer Stephan said the law allows them to file murder charges without having a body.

The District Attorney said that while not all evidence can be released yet, there are unsealed portions of the arrest warrant.

"It is our experience that there are people out there that often have information, but they feel uncomfortable," said

Stephan said she hopes the arrest of Maya's husband will encourage people to come forward.
