We've been waiting four MONTHS for our new B&Q kitchen – we paid £8,000, it's not right

A COUPLE has been left furious after waiting four MONTHS for B&Q to fit their new kitchen.
Sharon Pattison and Jeff Wood paid £8,000 to the DIY giant in August last year – forking out extra for its workers to fit the whole thing.
The company began work in November and had promised the kitchen would be finished by the end of the year, Chronicle Live reports.
But months later, the work is still incomplete and B&Q has admitted it did such a botch job, they will have to strip the whole thing and start again.
Sharon, 48, said: "We paid £8000 to B&Q way back in August and it has held on to the money since then, but not given us what we have paid for. It's not right.
"We were reassured the whole job would take 7-10 days from start to finish, so we went with it.
"We never dreamed that we would still be in such upheaval the following March."
Sharon said B&Q took their money in August but only scheduled the first fitting date for November.

She said their old kitchen was "stripped out" on day one, with the couple told their new units would arrive on day three.
The units did arrive, along with the flooring, which Sharon said B&Q decided would be fitted first.
But when workers fit the units on top of the new flooring, the mum-of-three said they were "put in wrong, as it turns out they had been given the wrong plan".
Sharon said she was then left without a washing machine for six weeks when the fitters moved onto the correct plan – because the appliance would "not fit into the gap left".
'IT'S NOT RIGHT'
She added: "B&Q said that my washing machine had never been planned into the design in the first place, which is ridiculous."
To make matters worse, Sharon and taxi driver Jeff, 60, were also left without a cooker for four weeks when their fitter went on paternity leave in the middle of the job and B&Q failed to send a replacement.
When B&Q eventually sent out another fitter, they said the floor had been boarded incorrectly and needed to be ripped up again.
They added the floor tiles were trip hazards and the wall tiles had been incorrectly lined up.
The inspections manager said the kitchen needed a full pull-out and started again.
Sharon said B&Q sent a tiler on Christmas Eve, which was "the last thing she needed", and after a chaotic, cancelled Christmas, she and Jeff got their first visit from B&Q's inspections manager.
She said: "The inspections manager said that the kitchen needed a full pull-out and started again. That was due to take place on Monday 21 February.
"On Friday 18 February, I got a call to say that the job would have to be cancelled as B&Q had no fitters available, so 16 weeks on from the start we are no further forward."
A B&Q spokesperson said: “We want all our customers to have a great experience and apologise to Ms Pattinson for the experience she had on this occasion.
"We have resolved the issue directly with the customer and have organised an installer to refit the kitchen."
