Voters slam Jeremy Corbyn over Brexit policy shambles and accuse him of playing games with the country

A new poll today showed more than two thirds of Brits think the Labour boss is playing politicis with the key issue.

And they say the party's bid to have their cake and eat it on Brexit has made them think less of the leftie leader.

The survey of 2,000 people was carried out by pollsters BritainThinks.

Previously many voters saw Mr Corbyn as a man of principle due to his long history of never changing his views.

But now that has reversed – with most saying he's driven by political advantage over Brexit.

A total of 69 per cent agreed that "on the issue of Brexit, Jeremy Corbyn is more concerned about party politics than the national interest".

And 61 per cent said their view of him has got worse since the 2016 referendum – more than any other politician.

Among the names they suggested to try and sort out Brexit instead were Gareth Southgate, Barack Obama and Jeremy Kyle.

Mr Corbyn has walked a tightrope over Brexit to try and keep all sides happy.

He backed Remain despite being a lifelong Eurosceptic – but was accused of deliberately failing to campaign properly.

Labour has fiercely opposed Mrs May's Brexit deal but stopped short of endorsing a second referendum.
