PRESIDENT Donald Trump's niece has claimed she heard her uncle use "virulently racist" and anti-Semitic slurs two days after her tell-all book hit shelves.
Mary Trump made the bombshell claims during an interview with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow set to air on Thursday night.
Trump's press office has dismissed his niece's claims, saying the book was published "in the author’s own financial self-interest".
A preview of the interview with Maddow aired on the Thursday evening edition of NBC Nightly News.
"I have to press you on it a little bit just to ask if the president, if your uncle, was an exception to that in your family or if he – if you heard – you ever heard him express either his anti-Semitic slurs or other sentiments like that," said Maddow.
"Oh yeah, of course I did," said Mary.
"And I don't think that should surprise anyone given how virulently racist he is today."
Maddow then directly asked Trump to confirm that she had heard her uncle use both the n-word and anti-Semitic slurs.
"Have you heard the president use the N-word?" asked Maddow.
"Yeah," responded Trump.
"And anti-Semitic slurs specifically?"
"Yes."
The 55-year-old psychologist began her press tour this week for Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man after a judge ruled she was allowed to speak freely about her book.
The tell-all, which was released on Tuesday, sold almost 1 million copies in its first week.
The book, which lawyers for President Trump attempted to stop being published, claims that his father neglected, manipulated, and emotionally abused him – claims that have repeatedly been dismissed by the Trump camp.
The Trump family had argued that the publication of the book would violate a non-disclosure agreement.
"President Trump has been in office for over three years working on behalf of the American people – why speak out now?" his spokesperson Sarah Matthews told The Sun.
The US president has previously said the book would violate an NDA and he'd "considered suing" his niece."
She’s not allowed to write a book," the president said in an interview with Axios.
The day after Mary's book was released, she claimed in an interview with ABC News that Trump is "utterly incapable" of leading the US.
"He is utterly incapable of leading this country, and it's dangerous for him to do so," Mary claimed in the interview.
When asked what she would tell her uncle if she saw him in the Oval Office, she said: "Resign."
