KATELYN Ballman, a popular TikTok star known as itskatieeebee on the platform who vlogged about life with her four kids, has passed away at age 27.
The vlogger's tragic death was revealed by her aunt Saundra Mae-Lynn in a Facebook post on Thursday.
She wrote: "It is with the utmost sadness that I need to report my niece Katelyn Ballman only 27 years old has passed away.
"She was fun and funny and a loving mother. I didn’t hear from her often but she did call once in a while.
"Nothing as far as I know is known about the cause of death.
"If you know Brenda Herbers contact her for further information. Bless her and her family…"
Ballman had more than 75,000 followers and 1.5million likes on her TikTok page, where she documented life with her four children and husband Josh Wurtz.
Ballman posted a last TikTok video captioned "Literally in school pick up line" on Wednesday, the day she died.
An obituary released by a Cincinnati funeral home confirmed: "Katelyn Wurtz (nee Ballman), age 27, of Cheviot, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
"She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 30, 1994 to Peggy Ballman."
Tributes from Ballman's friends and family immediately flooded in following the sad news.
Her mother in law, Kim Williams-Wurtz, posted a touching message to Facebook, reading: "I write a post tonight that I never thought in a million years I would every have to write.
"My precious, beautiful, loving, compassionate, kind, happy, joyful and so much more daughter-in-love passed away suddenly yesterday.
"God truly blessed our family with this Lil spit fire that came into our family with so much love and compassion and never looked back."
The post concluded: "I would ask that pray for my son! His heart is so broken! He's so lost!
"Please Continue to pray for Katelyn's mom and dad, sisters and brothers, as well as our family too… she made such a difference in everyone lives. I truly thank God for giving us such a gift with Katelyn."
Ballman's friend and fellow TikToker Allison Burton also posted a heartfelt message to Instagram alongside a selection of photos of the pair together.
She wrote: "My beautiful soul sister, my best friend, my everything is now in heaven. I can’t seem to understand why her? My heart is broken 💔
"Katelyn.. please watch over your babies, family, friends and me as I need it more than anything right now. I love you so f***ing much Katelyn."
Ballman's cause of death has not yet been revealed.
