Santa fires two handguns at house in shocking video as part of ‘IRA’ terror campaign that has seen bullets penetrate the home of star of Ireland’s The Voice

  • Her house came under fire on New Year’s Day in what she thinks are IRA attacks 

Shocking footage has emerged showing Santa shooting two handguns at the home of the parents of a former Voice of Ireland star.

CCTV captured the man in a red and white suit casually walking through the residential street in west Belfast before unloading a six-round clip at the property.

He then drew a second gun with his left hand and fired six more rounds at the home of George Richmond, 59, and his wife Geraldine, 57, before running off.

The couple – whose daughter Georgina, 33, was a finalist on the popular talent show The Voice of Ireland in 2016 – have had to flee their home after a spate of suspected IRA attacks.

The December 20 Santa attack followed an earlier gun attack on September 17 and an arson attack in the early hours of this morning.

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service sent two appliances to extinguish today’s blaze, which is thought to have started downstairs at at 2am.

Detective Sergeant McPhillips told The Belfast Telegraph: ‘The ground floor of the house was completely gutted in the blaze although fortunately no-one was in the property at the time of the incident.

The home belonged to the parents of Georgina Richmond (pictured), a former finalist on The Voice of Ireland

Ms Richmond’s home was also targeted by a gunman on New Year’s Day and police think the attacks are linked

‘The house next door was filled with smoke and a number of people who were inside at the time were brought to safety.

‘We are treating this fire as arson and believe it may be linked to criminal damage at the same address on 1 January, in which a number of windows were smashed.

On New Year’s Day, the home of Ms Richmond was also targeted by a gunman.

Neither Ms Richmond or her 10-year-old daughter were in at the time.
