NYPD releases photo of suspect who shoved grandma onto subway tracks

Police released images Tuesday of the man who allegedly attacked a 30-year-old and pushed the man’s elderly grandma onto subway tracks in Brooklyn.

The unidentified attacker is seen in the brief clip just before the violent encounter unfolded around 1:45 p.m. Monday at the C train’s Clinton-Washington stop, according to cops.

Police said the incident started when the 73-year-old woman’s grandson asked the man to stop smoking on the subway platform.

The man reacted by charging at the grandson and punching him repeatedly in the face and hit the 82-year-old grandfather when he tried to step in, cops said.

The grandma attempted to pull the man off her grandson but was shoved on the tracks, according to police.

EMS rushed the woman to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where she was still being treated for severe head injuries Tuesday.

The grandson was also still in the hospital Tuesday morning for severe head injuries, cops said.

The grandpa was treated and released for cuts to his face.
