The Australian singer, 45, and his actress wife, 56, live with their son Earl, 22, in the whimsical home and Susie often documents their Gothic lifestyles on her popular Instagram account
According to a property description, the estate – boasting a staggering 250 houses – was completed in 1828 and was designed by leading architect Charles Augustin Busby. Pictured: Nick working at his home
The couple bought it in 2002 for a mere £165,000 and have seen a bumper profit from the sale.
They raised their twin sons Arthur and Earl in the house and Cave was a frequent visitor to nearby cafes and coffee shops.
Susie Bick opened her clothes design business, The Vampire’s Wife, at premises just a stone’s throw away.
However in 2014 the couple suffered a tragedy when their son Arthur, 15, died after falling from cliffs not far from the house in Brighton.
And Cave’s eldest son Jethro Lazenby, 31, also tragically passed away last year.
Jethro died on May 7 2022 – just two days after he was released from prison in Australia.
At the time of his death, a judge had ordered Jethro to attend a drug treatment programme and to stay away from his mother for two years, The Metro reports.
The 31-year-old had previously enjoyed a successful career as a model and had acted using the stage name Jethro Cave.
Following Arthur’s death, the couple struggled to continue life at the house and eventually put it on the market and moved to London.

Nick Cave and his designer wife Susie Bick are understood to still love the seaside city and looking for a new house to live in
But in November 2021, Cave wrote on his The Red Hand Files blog: “Brighton had just become too sad.
“We did, however, return once we realised that, regardless of where we lived, we just took our sadness with us.
“These days, though, we spend much of our time in London, in a tiny, secret, pink house, where we are mostly happy.”
