A couple has blasted their ‘neighbour from hell’ after he erected a huge fence along a shared driveway to stop them opening their car doors or putting their bins out.
Chris and Millie Adams said Matthew Carter had left them ‘living in a nightmare’ after building the 3ft barrier at the house in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire.
They slammed him for leaving barely enough room outside their three-bedroom home for their tiny French Bulldog to squeeze by.

Mrs Adams, who works in admin, told the Sun: ‘We worked so hard to purchase this property but now we detest it and can’t bear to spend any time in the hell house.
‘I’d rather go back to living on a council estate. That’s where we were before and our neighbours were lovely. It’s a really s*** situation.’
Mr Adams said: ‘Those plans have been absolutely ruined. If you can’t be happy at home, where can you be?’
She added on Facebook: ‘Completely at a loss with what to do so now written to our MP… we are desperate and scared in our own home, how can this be legal!?
‘We are unable to fully open our car doors either side or fit our waste bins out unless we move both cars off of the drive.
‘We are sandwiched between both neighbouring properties and we are now unable to fit any vehicle larger or wider than a hatchback with difficulties getting in and out the car with a physical disability.
‘This dispute has destroyed myself and my husbands mental health and has exacerbated my physical health conditions (I have an invisible disability and chronic pain).
‘We are a young couple that worked hard to purchase our own house, a future family home that we now detest and can’t bear to spend time in.
‘We will struggle to sell this hell house now we have records of neighbour dispute we have to disclose to a potential buyer.
‘We are desperate for any sort of advice or help, I have just paid £750 of my own money to a solicitor as we are starting legal proceedings against the neighbours now.’

The row reportedly erupted over parking on the street, where houses cost around £275,000.
Newlyweds Mr and Mrs Adams, who moved to the road a year ago, claim Mr Carter put it up without any mediation process.
They claim their neighbour told them on December 6 he would build it and work began within a week.
Heating engineer Mr Carter has allegedly added to it each weekend since, with it now covering the majority of the driveway.
The middle section of the fence reaches about 3ft but the bottom of it towers at around 6ft.
The couple said they fear it will go the length of the shared driveway despite them already having problems leaving their car.

Mr and Mrs Adams said it has impacted their mental health and made them want to stay indoors.
They also claimed the noise of the fence being cut and erected was scaring their animals.
The couple have spent £750 on legal fees to investigate the legality of the huge barrier.
Irthlingborough Town Council confirmed it was probing the case but refused to comment further.
Northamptonshire Police said it was aware of ‘ongoing issues between the two parties’ but no criminality was being probed.
Mr Carter had not responded to requests for comment from the Sun.
