Millions of Brits set to win cash by matching just two numbers in new National Lottery game
LOTTERY punters can soon win a fiver by matching just two numbers.
The new rule applies in Must Be Won games, which are held after five rollovers.
If nobody matches all six numbers for the Must Be Won jackpot it is shared among all cash winners.
Now for the first time, two numbers will be enough for a prize — with around a million players per draw expected to collect £5 and a free lucky dip. Camelot will launch the shake-up from November 7 with a special Must Be Won draw.
Commercial director Neil Brocklehurst said: “We know an unexpected extra fiver — which could be spent on chocolates, a book, or coffee for a friend — can really put a smile on someone’s face.”
Meanwhile, three “Big September” draws will kick off with a £20million Must Be Won on Saturday 5th.
A mega EuroMillions draw guaranteeing 20 UK millionaires will be held on Friday, September 18.
And a boosted EuroMillions jackpot of over £100million will be up for grabs the following Friday.
