Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved BELOW Sophie Wessex and Prince Edward on Royal website after Megxit

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle appear to have been snubbed by the Royals' website – after being moved BELOW the Wessexes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex now appear underneath Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex on the official royal site.

Royal fans were surprised when the family section of the website appeared to be under construction, with profiles of senior royals being moved around.

Harry and Meghan are now below Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and the Wessexes.

The website still states that the couple will be “balancing their time” between the UK and North America, despite moving to Los Angeles.

It adds: “They are continuing to honour their duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages.

“Frogmore Cottage in the UK remains their family home.

“The Duchess will continue to support a number of charitable causes and organisations which reflect the issues with which she has long been associated including the arts, access to education, support for women and animal welfare.”

Buckingham Palace declined to comment, other than to say the website is regularly refreshed.

Royal fans spotted the difference once the website had been set live again, with one tweeting: “@KensingtonRoyal @RoyalFamily still have #meghanmarkle #princeharry in the royal website? Why?

“They are not working royals and they ‘ aren't dividing their time between the UK and North America’  why are they being promoted on the website?”

The Royals have been known to use social media and their websites to send subtle messages to the public.

Following the death of Prince Philip, all of the social media accounts associated with the royals removed their faces from the profile pictures as a mark of respect.

After the two week mourning period they were changed back, however the Queen had hers changed from an image of Her Majesty and Prince Philip to just her alone.

It comes as…

And in an interview released today, Sophie, 56, pointed out how nice it was to have a “lengthy chat” with Prince Harry after the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral – insisting the couple are "still family no matter what".

The funeral was the first time that Prince Harry had returned to the UK since stepping down as a senior royal, and giving a bombshell interview to Oprah with Meghan.

The move is just another blow to Harry and Meghan after it was revealedthe Earl and Countess of Wessex will be part of Prince Charles' slimmed down monarchy.

It has been claimed that the Prince of Wales is poised to "cut the monarchy down" in the future to save cash.

Harry and Meghan previously said that they felt “pushed out” by the Firm – despite being told before Megxit that they were going to remain front line royals.

Prince Harry, who stepped down from Royal duties last March, accused the Royals of “neglect” and claimed that his father Prince Charles made him “suffer” as a child.

His shocking new comments on a new Apple+ series with Oprah Winfrey have left senior members of the Royal Family concerned about future comments as they are unable to respond to the claims.

Harry and Meghan Markle accused a senior member of the Firm of being “racist” during an hour-long special with Oprah Winfrey in March.
