Man is found slumped over on a London bus after he was STABBED in a fight in front of horrified commuters and then tried to flee the scene

A bus passenger was stabbed on a packed double decker at rush hour today and then fled on to another bus where he collapsed.

Police have sealed off the 472 outside Plumstead Station in south-east London and traced the victim, who is now in hospital.

The incident happened in Greenwich borough at around 7.20am in front of horrified commuters and school children.

The man who was stabbed jumped on to another bus and was found slumped in his seat by police who are believed to have taken him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich.

A police spokesman said: ‘No arrests have been made so far, and we await an update on the man’s condition’.
