Lindsay Lohan NOT in a secret sexual relationship with Saudi Crown Prince, star’s dad forced to claim after rumours – The Sun

LINDSAY Lohan is NOT in a secret sexual relationship with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, her father has said.

Michael Lohan told Page Six his daughter's unlikely friendship with the controversial royal is "platonic and respectful."

When asked by Page Six about shocking rumours that plague the Saudi prince, like imprisoning members of his own family and ordering the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, he said: "None of that has proven to be true.

"Lindsay says he’s a good person.

"She feels safe, she has good people around her, and she knows how to conduct herself."

The Mean Girls star apparently struck up a friendship with bin Salman whilst doing charity work in the Middle East.

The star, who lives part-time in Dubai has been helping Syrian refugees and is "huge" in the mostly Muslim region her dad says.

Lindsay's management have previously insisted she only met the prince once and fiercely denied the Saudi ever presented her with a gift wrapped credit card.

'IT'S PLATONIC'

The pair have been plagued by rumours that they're dating, with sources close to Lindsay insisting it wasn't "unusual" for the star to be courted by Middle Eastern dignitaries.

Lohan has exhibited a growing interest in the region in recent years and particularly in its majority religion – Islam.

But dad Michael denies she has converted.

In 2017, the star said she was "studying" the Muslim holy text, the Koran, and has also been pictured in various headscarves and also a "burkini."

Lindsay has not confirmed whether she plans to convert to Islam, but she insisted reading the Koran has given her peace.

During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, she said: " Studying the Koran is something I found solace in, a religion where I found a lot of peace.

"I have reached inside and I found what I want my intentions to be in the world… focusing on taking control of what I want out of life…

"You can't just convert to a religion overnight – it's a culture and practice [and] I don't want to comment on something I haven't finished', she told the programme."

And in 2018, she deleted all of her Instagram posts and updated her bio with the message “Alaikum salam", meaning “Peace be unto you” in Arabic.

Her management is yet to comment on Michael's claims.
