Katie Price begs judges to slash her two-year driving ban after she failed to tell cops who crashed pink Range Rover

KATIE Price is battling to throw out her two-year driving ban after she failed to tell cops who crashed her pink Range Rover.

The ex-glamour model was slapped with the ban last month after the smash in the £130,000 car in October 2018, in Bexley.

She already had six points on her licence for previous offences but was handed another six points after admitting failing to tell cops who was behind the wheel.

Price, 41, has now lodged an appeal at Woolwich Crown Court to slash the length of the ban, which is listed for December 20.

She had missed her sentencing after her lawyer wrote a letter to the court asking for an adjournment, which was dismissed by the judge.

Earlier this year she claimed she was “back on her feet” after a nightmare 2018.

The 41-year-old model claimed she now had a “clearer mindset” after her life careered out of control.

NIGHTMARE YEAR

And she pledged she was “tackling her issues” as she tried to reign in 2018’s chaos.

The statement was read at Bromley Magistrates Court in July where she was charged with refusing to name who was driving her car.

Price has had a nightmare year of motoring offences and mental health battles she has spoken publicly about herself.

In February she was convicted of being drunk in charge of her car which had crashed.

She was found in the back seat in the early hours of October 10 wearing a hoodie, socks and trainers, but no pants, and denied she had been driving, blaming a friend of her boyfriend.

Price, of Horsham, West Sussex, had drunk four porn star martinis but was found not guilty of a separate charge of drink driving.

She told Bexley Magistrates' Court at the time that a mystery man had been driving her car but Judge Nigel Dean found she was not a "plausible" or "credible" witness.

In January she got a three-month driving ban and fined £1,100 after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified and not having third-party insurance.
