Fire breaks out at home in Malahide: OPP

A fire in Malahide has closed a section of Ron McNeil Line on Wednesday morning, according to Elgin County OPP.

Police say they responded to a residential fire at around 4:30 a.m. on Ron McNeil Line.

While details are sparse, police say they closed Ron McNeil Line between Imperial and Newell roads to allow fire services easier access to the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and police say the roadway should reopen around 12 p.m. Wednesday.
