Cleveland State University 'bomb threat' latest – Fenn Tower residence hall evacuated as students urged to avoid area

A BOMB threat has been reported at a Cleveland State University residence hall.

Fenn Tower was evacuated out of “an abundance of caution around 9pm,” read a tweet from the school’s official Twitter account.

Bomb-sniffing dogs, CSU Police, Cleveland Police and Cleveland Fire are currently on the scene. 

Students and faculty are being advised to avoid the area.

The perimeter of the dorm has been taped off. Traffic heading west on Euclid Avenue has also been blocked off.

A similar threat was reported at CSU Law College on November 4. That case is still open and is being investigated by the CSU detective bureau .
