Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid split AGAIN as Gigi struggled to cope with ex-One Direction star's 'issues'

They are said to have been spending time apart since November, with insiders revealing that Gigi struggled to cope with Zayn's "issues".

Speaking to Us Weekly, a source said: "They're done.

"They could get back together, but it’s over for now."

A separate insider told the publication that supermodel Gigi has been trying "hard to make it work", adding that she struggled because the former One Direction star has "a lot of his own issues that she couldn’t help him get through".

The relationship is said to have turned sour soon after the pair reunited in May last year – two months after their March split.

The insider explained: "She cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together.

"She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much."

Speaking to the Daily Star, a third source added: "They have been spending time apart since early November.

"They think it’s best for the sake of their relationship."

Fans have been speculating that all is not well between Zayn and Gigi in recent weeks as they have been notably absent from one another's social media pages.

Gigi's last post featuring Zayn was in late October, with the beauty also attending Taylor Swift's New Year's Eve party alone earlier this week.

The star impressed fans with the Mary Poppins fancy dress costume that she wore to the do, which was "Childhood Heroes" themed.

Gigi partied with the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Taylor herself as the group brought in 2019 together.
