Here's everything you need to know…

Why did Ariana Grande pull out of the Grammys?

According to reports from Variety, Ariana Grande felt "insulted" when producers said she wouldn't be allowed to perform 7 Rings, the latest single from her album Thank U, Next.

They reached a compromise and told her that she'd be able to sing the track as part of a medley.

But Ariana pulled out of the Grammys completely when they insisted on choosing the second song she would perform.

Sources claimed such restrictions hadn't been imposed on any other acts.

Will Ariana Grande still attend the Grammys?

It's reported that Ariana is so annoyed about the row over song choice that she's not even going to attend this years Grammys.

Her decision not to show up will be embarrassing for organisers who have used her image on Billboards across America to advertise the ceremony which takes place on February 10.

In 2018 there was similar controversy when the organisers of the Grammys wouldn't let Lorde perform her song Melodrama and instead offered to let her sing during the show's Tom Petty tribute – which she declined.

Is Ariana Grande nominated for any Grammy awards?

Ariana is nominated for two awards – Best Vocal Pop Performance for God Is A Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

Her forthcoming album Thank U, Next is set to be released on Febraury 8, two days before the Grammys.

The lead single Thank U, Next was released in November 2018 and reached number one in the US, UK, Australia, Canada and nine other countries.

The lyrics refer to four of her ex boyfriends  – Big Sean, Ricky Alvarez, Pete Davidson and Mac Miller.
