The character was welcomed as a patient of Dr Manpreet this week, however his time in the village will prove short-lived following a culinary disaster.

Who plays Derek in Emmerdale?
Derek is played by comedy legend Tommy Cannon, who’s no stranger to the limelight.
The 81-year-old announced he was joining the cast in August when he tweeted: ‘Excited to be able to announce that I’m doing a brief stint as Derek in Emmerdale!! Spending some time in the Dales.’
What is Tommy Cannon best known for?
Tommy is best known for being one half of the 1980s comedy duo Cannon and Ball.
Along with Bobby Ball, he hosted comedy variety programme The Cannon and Ball Show on ITV for nine years until 1988.
Despite the show ending the pair’s friendship stayed strong, with Tommy and Bobby both appearing on I’m a Celebrity in 2005 and Channel 4’s Celebrity Coach Trip in 2012.
The duo also served as panellists on BBC Radio 4’s comedy series Act Your Age and last year starred on ITV’s Last Laugh in Vegas.
