HUGH Skinner is a British actor best known for his role as Prince William in the riotious Channel 4 sitcom The Windsors.

Who is Hugh Skinner?

Hugh Skinner, 33, is a British actor and former pupil of the prestigious boarding school Eastbourne College.

He's a pal of Eddie Redmayne's, having starred with him in the movie of Les Miserables and the TV drama Tess Of The D'Urbevilles.

Hugh himself is yet to crack Hollywood, but has played a number of popular characters across several TV shows.

These include Sir George Howard TV comedy show Harlots, which is based on a series of prostitutes in 18th century London, as well as the lovable Unwin in Poldark and Harry in sitcom Fleabag.

The star was also previously part of the cast of BBC series W1A, playing a scatterbrained temp called Will, but left the show in 2015.

What films has Hugh Skinner been in?

Hugh will star in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again – a sequel to the 2008 film which is was released in July 2018.

In the new movie he will play a younger version of Harry, who was originally played by Colin Firth in the first film.

Hugh has also appeared as a Resistance Officer in the 2017 film Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

He also had a small part in the drama film Hampstead which starred Diane Keaton and Brendan Gleeson.

Season two of Fleabag aired on March 4.

What is The Windsors and when is the Royal Wedding Special on Channel 4?

Comedy series The Windsors follows a bizarre parody version of the British Royal Family – focusing on Prince Charles (Harry Enfield) and his quest for the crown.

The second series ended in 2017 but it will be back on Channel 4 on April 15 at 8pm for a Royal Wedding Special.

In this episode we will see Meghan Markle (Kathryn Drysdale) and Harry preparing for their upcoming nuptials.

Meanwhile Prince William and Kate struggle to prepare for baby number three while Pippa Middleton comes up with a plan to sabotage the wedding.
