THE Apprentice is back for a brand new series with more overly keen hopefuls hoping to not be "fired".

One of those contestants hoping to impress Lord Sugar is Francesca Kennedy Wallbank.

Who is Francesca Kennedy Wallbank on The Apprentice 2022?

Francesca Kennedy Wallbank is a26-year-old owner of a sustainability company.

Her LinkedIn bio says: "I'm passionate about making sustainable choices easier for everyone.

"From launching H2OSQD, a reusable water bottle company to reduce single-use plastic, to launching The Carbon Footprint Co to help companies become carbon neutral and accelerate the use of carbon labelling.

"I can also be found working at Unilever on both Marketing and Supply Chain projects following completing the Unilever Future Leaders Programme after graduating with a first class Mathematics degree."

Fun fact, Francesca is apparently a "direct descendant of William Wordsworth", as she revealed in the teaser video clip for new The Apprentice .

Francesca founded and runs sustainability company H2OSQD, aka The Flat Water Bottle.

The company's Instagram page describes the sustainable product as: "Bottles that fit in your bag."

The company also says that they plants trees, is carbon neutral and uses biodegradable packaging.

What has Francesca Kennedy Wallbank said?

Coming from a line of successful entrepreneurs, Francesca is confident that she can win.

She told the BBC: “I’ve never lost anything, I always win.”

The BBC said in a statement: "Eco-conscious, mathematics graduate Francesca is looking for investment in her next venture, providing a product carbon footprint service for businesses with a simple equation of her own creation."

When is The Apprentice on?

The Apprentice kicks off on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 9pm on BBC One.

The new series will broadcast weekly and will see former winner Tim Campbell join as one of Lord Sugar's aides.

He will stand in for Claude Littner who won't be taking part due to medical reasons.
