Who is Fionn Whitehead?

A Londoner, born and bred, Whitehead holds a law degree, but initially tried to make it as a jazz musician.

By 2015, he was an aspiring actor who worked at a coffee shop in Waterloo, according to IMDB.

In 2016 he appeared in ITV's three-part series HIM while continuing to be an active member of the Youth Theatre.

But his big break came in 2017 when he was cast as the lead for Christopher Nolan's British historical epic Dunkirk.

Who does he play in Black Mirror Bandersnatch?

Whitehead plays the leading role in the new feature-length film.

All we know for sure so far is his character is called Stefan.

A blurb for the feature describes the plot as: A young programmer makes a fantasy novel into a game. Soon, reality and virtual world are mixed and start to create confusion.

When was he in Dunkirk?

From May 2016 Whitehead spent five months sprinting about a French beach as part of the filming for Christopher Nolan's wartime epic Dunkirk.

He played the main character Tommy, a quiet protagonist who observes more often than speaking.

Dunkirk tells the real story of 400,000 Allied troops being evacuated from the French port as the German army advanced upon them.

Whitehead described Tommy as the eyes and ears for the audience during the trials.
