Who is Dan Walker’s wife Sarah Walker and how many kids do they have?

BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker likes to keep his private life out of the spotlight.

The Strictly 2021 star has made a number of disclosures about his life off-screen and his wife, Sarah – although fans are yet to see her.

Who is Sarah Walker?

While her husband is a well-known face on the box, Sarah maintains a low profile as both her profession and achievements have been made private.

She met Dan in 1999, when they both attended the University of Sheffield, where Dan graduated with a Masters degree in broadcast journalism.

They have been inseparable ever since, although Dan has stated that they have their share of marital disagreements.

The pair currently live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, where they both studied and subsequently met.

Dan told Mail Online in 2018: "My wife Sarah and I moved to Sheffield last year because it's played a big part in our lives.

"We both studied here and it's where I began broadcasting."

When did Dan and Sarah Walker get married?

Sarah and Dan have been enjoying a healthy relationship for more than two decades.

They tied the knot in 2001 after dating for two years.

Nothing is known about their precise wedding date, venue or guests and both of them seem adamant on not disclosing any details about their special day.

Following their wedding, the lovebirds went on to build their own family.

How many kids do Dan and Sarah Walker have?

Sarah and Dan share three children, two girls named Susanna and Jessica, as well as a boy named Chuck.

Again, not much is known about them aside from their respective names.

The broadcaster does sometimes share glimpses of his life as a father on his social media platforms.

In August, 2020, Dan posted a series of pictures on Instagram – where he is very active – showing off his family's stay in London.

Sarah and their three children could all be seen, their backs to the camera, enjoying a London Eye ride.

In December 2020, Dan shared a picture of his son Chuck snacking on a Yorshire pudding.

The family also owns a dog, an adorable cockapoo, called Winnie.
