What has Kevin Spacey said about his love life?

After years of speculation, Spacey decided to come out as gay in a Twitter statement in 2017.

The actor said that he has "loved and had romantic encounters with men" and that he chooses "now to live as a gay man," after being accused of a sexual advance on a 14-year-old at the time.

Spacey went on to say that the situation "encouraged me to address other things about my life.

"As those closest to me know."

He added: "I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man."

A few years before these allegations came up, Spacey previously spoke about his love life saying: "I find it sad that by not talking about who I sleep with, that makes me mysterious. There was a time when I would have been called a gentleman."
