Who destroys Nina's memorial garden for Seb in Coronation Street?

Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) is set to face more heartbreak in Coronation Street, as her memorial garden for Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) is ransacked in upcoming scenes.

The popular ITV soap mainstay is struggling to come to terms with the death of boyfriend Seb, who was brutally beaten to death during a hate-crime attack back in May.

Reliving the trauma of the night in question proved difficult for her, when a witness liaison officer popped by the cafe for a chat, but she was later given a reason to smile, when Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) mentioned a memorial veg plot left by one of his parishioners.

Nina was rather taken with the idea, and wasted little time in suggesting to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) that they do the same for Seb.

Roy was chuffed to see Nina smiling again, and he thought it was a marvellous idea, as did Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges), who offered her the land beside the builder’s yard.

Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), knowing how important the project is to Nina, was quick to offer her support, and Monday’s double-bill of the serial drama saw her collecting money, much to Nina’s delight.

A donation of £400 was largely the reason why the memorial garden was made a reality so swiftly, with Asha claiming that Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) was the generous benefactor.

Viewers, however, discovered that it was actually Asha, as she’s sold her new laptop in order to raise the cash.

Tonight’s edition (August 11) of the ITV soap sees Nina continuing to work on the memorial garden, with some assistance from Asha and Roy, but future scenes will see the veg plot ransacked.

The question is: who is responsible?

Who destroys Nina’s memorial garden for Seb in Coronation Street?

The identity of the mystery attacker who ransacks the memorial garden is currently known.

Friday’s hour-long outing of the soap will see Nina and Roy arrive at the memorial garden, only to find that it has been destroyed.

Nina is devastated, and swiftly starts cleaning up the mess.

Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) passes by, with Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) by her side, horrified by what has transpired. Abi, however, remains quiet, before setting off.

Nina resolves to find out who is to blame for destroying her touching tribute to Seb, and it’s clear that she has a suspect in mind.

In the wake of Asha’s admission that she still has feelings for her, Nina comes to believe that her ex is responsible for the crime.

But was it really Asha?

You’ll just have to keep watching in order to find out!

Coronation Street continues Friday August 13 at 7:30pm on ITV.
