When Will ‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2 Be on Hulu? The ABC Premiere Has Fans Excited

Fans are ready to dive right back into A Million Little Things when the series returns to ABC on Thursday, Sept. 26. From new mysteries to unexpected heartbreak, the show’s cast and crew have been teasing viewers with what’s to come in the sophomore season. But with all the excitement surrounding the premiere, it’s easy for some cable-cutting fans to feel a little left out. So when will A Million Little Things Season 2 be on Hulu? Get ready, because you don’t have much time to waste before the new season is released on the streaming platform.

‘A Million Little Things’ Season 2 release date on Hulu

As mentioned, the second season of A Million Little Things will start airing on Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET. The series premiere will make its debut following a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy. However, fans won’t be able to watch the ABC drama on Hulu until it is released on Friday, Sept. 27, according to Variety.

Per usual, the streaming service adds new episodes of ABC shows — like How to Get Away with Murder — a day after the episode airs live on ABC. So rest up on Thursday night and catch the season 2 premiere on Friday morning — or just whenever you find the time.

Will ‘A Million Little Things’ Be on Netflix?

Unfortunately, A Million Little Things isn’t available on Netflix. It also doesn’t look like the new season will be on the streaming site in the near future. The entire first season is currently on Hulu, and it’s likely the second season will do the same.

What happens when season 2 of ‘A Million Little Things’ returns to ABC?

Although the first season finale provided fans with some much-needed closure surrounding Jon’s (Ron Livingston) suicide, the second season premiere will open up a new can of worms. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunner DJ Nash teased this season’s mystery will surround Jason Ritter’s new character in season 2.

According to Nash, Ritter is “coming into the world and threatening to shake everything up.” But don’t forget your detective gear, because the show creator hinted the new storyline will still be connected to the first season.

“It’s a character that comes up based on stuff from the first season,” Nash said. “Throughout the first half of the season, we follow the question: Who is this person? And then once it’s known who they are, their potential to shake up the world comes.”

Nash then revealed the second season will deal with the “aftermath of Jon being gone,” noting the show does not plan to explain why the character took his life. “You never have the benefit of knowing that,” he explained. Nevertheless, other characters continue on.

“In some ways, it’s harder,” the showrunner said. “What happens in your second year is that life goes on and yet you still have the reminders and the absences. As our friends pursue their lives, they realize that the loss is still profound and will always be a part of the fabric of their lives.”

Chances are, by the time you finish watching the A Million Little Things Season 2 premiere, you’re going to have a million more questions swirling through your head. And in turn, you’ll probably be itching for more episodes, no matter how complicated the answer may be. Just remember — life goes on, ready or not.
