What is Finding Alice about and how many episodes are there? – The Sun

FINDING Alice is ITV's new black comedy with the central character coming to terms with the loss of her husband.

With an incredible all-star cast (Keeley Hawes, Joanna Lumley and Nigel Havers to name a few), here's what the ITV drama is about.

When is Finding Alice on ITV?

Finding Alice will air at 9pm tonight, January 31 2021, on ITV.

The six-part drama was created by Roger Goldby, Simon Nye and Keeley Hawes – who will also star in the show as Alice.

Finding Alice is the second project to be produced by Keeley Hawes's production company Buddy Club Productions, following the two-part drama Honour.

What is Finding Alice about?

Finding Alice follows the journey of, you guessed it, a woman called Alice, following the death of her beloved husband of 20 years, Harry.

The couple are ecstatic after they move into their newly refurbished dream home.

However, Alice's world is turned upside down when Harry falls down the stairs and tragically dies.

As she tries to cope with what's happened, Alice struggles with overwhelming feelings of loss, abandonment and disorientation.

Making matters worse, as she continues to settle into her new home, Alice uncovers an unsettling secret Harry had desperately tried to hide.

His dark trail of debt, suspicion and criminality leaves her blindsided.

Will she be able to handle the problems Harry left behind or will Alice crumble?

Who is in the Finding Alice cast?

Keeley is joined in the cast by Joanna Lumley, who will play Alice's mother Sarah, and Nigel Havers has been signed up to feature as Roger, Alice's father.

Also joining the cast are Gentleman Jack's Gemma Jones and Kenneth Cranham from Bancroft as Minnie and Gerry, Alice’s in-laws.

Teenage star Isabella Pappas, from the show Paranoid, will feature as Alice and Harry’s 16-year-old daughter Charlotte.

And Harry himself is played by former Cutting It star Jason Merrells.

Last but not least, Sharon Rooney from No Offence will be playing Harry’s sister Nicola.
