Wendy Williams slams Vogue editor Anna Wintour and claims she ‘doesn’t care about people’ – The Sun
WENDY Williams slammed Vogue editor Anna Wintour and claimed she 'doesn't care about people.'
The daytime talk show host agreed with André Leon Talley, who bashed the former magazine icon is his new memoir.
Wendy said on the show: "No one is of value to Anna Wintour.
"Anna Wintour doesn't care about people. Anna Wintour cares about her wig.
"Anna Wintour cares about her reputation.
"And Anna Wintour cares about who pays attention to her in fashion."
André worked at Vogue for more than 30 years.
He wrote of Anna in his upcoming memoir, The Chiffon Trenches: "She is immune to anyone other than the powerful and famous people who populate the pages of Vogue.
"She has mercilessly made her best friends people who are the highest in their chosen fields.
"Serena Williams, Roger Federer, Mr. and Mrs. George Clooney are, to her, friends. I am no longer of value to her.”
However, Wendy also implored André to get "get over" his beef with Anna and "move on…"
She went on to say André would probably go back Anna and Vogue if she called him.
Wendy believed: "If Anna Wintour called you [André] right after you watched this piece right here, you would answer the phone get in your car and go right in to where Anna Wintour is.
She added: "And that's the difference between me and you, or people with a backbone."
Wendy also said she hopes when she's as old as André she won't be "stuck on less than smart" like he is.
