Victoria Beckham has let go closest confidante and PR guru Jo Milloy after 20 years after Meghan Markle row – The Sun
VICTORIA Beckham is saying goodbye to closest confidante and PR guru Jo Milloy after 20 years working together, the Sun Online can exclusively reveal.
The Spice Girl-turned-designer, 45, has shared a close bond with the communications director for many years, but has since decided to part company amicably.
Jo, along with PR Ruth Davies, quit Victoria's fashion label last year.
However, she still continued to personally represent the star until recently.
A source revealed to The Sun Online: "They're no longer working together and her PR is now handled by someone on David's team"
The PR guru took over as Victoria's publicist just one month after she gave birth to son Cruz in 2005.
Their shock parting comes weeks after The Sun revealed Prince Harry had confronted David over fears that Victoria was the leak behind a 2017 article on his wife Meghan.
Despite the couples patching it up after a cooling of relations since – with the Beckhams attending the 2018 royal wedding – the former Spice Girl was said to be "mortified" by the row and feared for her reputation after being dragged into Megxit.
A source told Closer: "Vic was mortified when it happened.
"She and David were both shocked and hurt – so it was hard for her to relive the same feelings after details resurfaced of the alleged leak amid the furore around Harry and Meghan stepping back from the royal family.
"Vic's now panicking that this could destroy her reputation. She's been very careful who she keeps close to her in the past for reasons of trust and loyalty.
"It's heartbreaking for her to be accused and for everyone else to know about it."
Last year, it was revealed Victoria had been forced to cut back on costs as her fashion empire continued to flounder.
Posh, whose firm recorded losses of more than £12million, took drastic measures to ensure she was saving by no longer employing a chauffeur, meaning she had to drive herself to work or take a taxi.
While her HQ in Hammersmith, West London, was set to be no longer decorated with scores of plant pots.
A source revealed to us: "Victoria is gutted but she’s put everything into her fashion empire and won’t give up without a fight."
