Vicky Pattison admits regrets over losing friend Charlotte Crosby – but says distance from Geordie Shore helped career

GEORDIE Shore’s Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby partied, pulled and laughed their way through the early years of the wild MTV show.

Since those hedonistic years the pair’s fame has grown massively, with Vicky going on to be crowned Queen of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity, while Charlotte won Celebrity Big Brother.

But earlier this month Charlotte revealed the pair haven't spoken in the six years since Vicky quit in 2014.

And now Vicky tells us that she could have done more to keep in touch with her former co-stars, but admits distancing herself from the show has helped her career.

She tells The Sun: "Whenever anyone from a reality TV background does well I’m always flying the flag and being a bit of a cheerleader, so I do hope they’re all still doing great.

“It couldn’t be fairer, I have moved away from all of that and we don’t keep in touch like we should.

“Often when you leave jobs you don’t always manage to keep in touch with everybody. Your life goes in different directions. Barry from accounts might have seemed super cool at the time, but five days later you’re not always checking in on Barry. It’s a natural progression.

"But fair play, I hope the cast are all doing really good, and maybe I should have stayed in touch better, but I’ve gone in a different direction. I do wish them all the best."

Vicky’s latest project sees her and Towie’s Pete Wicks indulge their naughty sides after teaming up with Elves Behavin’ Badly.

Spreading some festive cheer, the celeb duo pulled on candy cane trousers and took to London’s streets dressed as the brand’s cheeky elves Elfie and Elvie.

But Pete got more than he bargained for as he prepared to turn on Christmas lights wrapped around a 10m high tree.

As he hit the button, the trunk snapped in two, leaving him in shock and prankster Vicky in hysterics.

“I don’t think you could have two better mischievous elves than me and Vic,” Pete told us afterwards. “Playing pranks on people is my thing, however, she got me good with this Christmas tree one. I genuinely s**t myself. It was quite shocking.”

A self-declared Scrooge, Pete continued: “That’s the bit of Christmas I don’t mind. That naughty element when people get a little bit drunk and have a bit of fun with stuff… It’s just all the emotional stuff I don’t like. It’s the perfect time for mischievous elves to bring a little bit of light-heartedness to what’s been a terrible year for everyone.”

Who are Elves Behavin’ Badly?

While coronavirus restrictions will be temporarily relaxed over the Christmas period to allow families to spend time together, Pete won’t be taking advantage of the rules to see ex flame Chloe Sims now that they’re back on good terms.

Remaining coy about their current relationship, Pete said: “I’m not allowed to talk about all that because we’ve got a Christmas special you’ve got to watch so you’ll have to find out.

“But generally every Christmas me and the dogs and I’ll be spending it with my nan and that this year.”

When Vicky pressed him on perhaps having a Boxing Day catch-up, he laughed: “Chloe’s spending it with her family this Christmas.”

Meanwhile Vicky is relishing Christmas with her boyfriend Ercan Ramadan and can’t wait to see her sister Laura’s baby daughter Mavie.

She laughed: “I’m looking forward to being that really cool rich aunt who just buys her love. So it’s going to be like Santa’s grotto, presents everywhere.”
