Vanessa and Tracy destroyed by death accusations in Emmerdale?
Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) and Tracy Metcalfe’s (Amy Walsh) world came crashing down several months ago in Emmerdale when their dad Frank Clayton (Michael Praed) was killed in the devastating fire at the factory. In spite of Frank being prime suspect in the police investigation, Tracy remains adamant that her dad did not cause the fire — and she takes some drastic action to prove his innocence in the coming episodes.
As her birthday approaches, Tracy is adamant that celebrating the event is simply not an option. Instead, she decides to focus her attention on her mission to prove Frank’s innocence and — whilst doing so — she overhears a private conversation between Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Will (Dean Andrews), and ends up jumping to the wrong conclusion.
Due to this conversation, Tracy locks Dawn in the church and — after doing so — makes all sorts of accusations about the young woman. Emotions are clearly running high, and Tracy’s not thinking straight as a result, so will she regret her actions?
Vanessa manages to intervene and brings Tracy back home and — following everything that’s transpired — Tracy breaks down in her sister’s arms.
The following day, Vanessa arrives home with Frank’s ashes, but — shockingly —Tracy reveals that she wants nothing to do with them, before admitting that she feels betrayed by her dad.
Has Tracy begun to believe that Frank’s guilty after all?
If so, will Vanessa be able to change her mind?
What’s more, the two sisters have struggled to see eye-to-eye since losing their dad, so — with emotions running high — could Tracy’s revelation prove to be the final nail in the coffin for their relationship? Or — as they’ve done so many times before — will they stick by one another through thick and thin?
