Tyson Fury’s little bro Tommy set for LOVE ISLAND with ‘top billing in new ITV series’
“I don’t want to be known as someone’s brother.
“I want people to watch me because I am a fighter on my own merit and not because of who I am related to. My aim is to make fans turn out for me and not for my name.” Tommy is being trained by Ricky Hatton in Manchester.
Ricky, 40, has tipped Tommy to be king of the ITV2 love villa.
The boxing hero said: “He looks a bit different to his brother and cousin. Tommy looks like he has just come off Love Island and Tyson looks like he’s off Treasure Island – sorry Tyson.”
The source added: “Love Island is the kind of show that someone like Tommy would really benefit from.”
Tommy previously dated Millie Robinson who is a social media model. Last night a Love Island spokesman said: “We do not comment on speculation.”
Love Island producers are under pressure to improve after-care after two of its stars, Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis, killed themselves.
Bosses say teams of therapists will be on hand.
