Towie's James 'Arg' Argent and Fran Parman show off huge weight loss as fans insist they're a COUPLE

TOWIE stars James 'Arg' Argent and Fran Parman cosied up together in a club as they showed off their remarkable weight loss.

Between them the Essex pair have slimmed down dramatically over the past year – with Arg desperate to lose 13 stone.

Many fans praised the pair in the Instagram picture's comments – and some reckon they could be a fantastic new couple.

Posting beside 33-year-old Arg, who had an arm around her she said the pair had "smashed" it.

Fran, 30, wrote: "From us being really down about our weight last year and pushing each other to remind each other we can do this.. I’m so proud of us!!

"I think we can safely say we’ve smashed it 🤪 from going to school, church & working together thank you for always being like a big brother 🥰.

"Congratulations @real_arg you should be very proud 🥰 how well does he look every one!!!"

Hundreds of fans commented to tell the pair they looked "brilliant" with one adding: "Yous two would make a lovely couple."

Another wrote: "Looks amazing. And if I say I believe you'd make a great couple."

Arg slimmed down in a matter of months after doctors ordered him to lose weight, warning that he could die if he didn't.

The star – who split from Gemma Collins during lockdown – had gastric sleeve surgery earlier this year after his weight hit 27 stone after overindulging during lockdown.

He is currently limited to just 1,000 calories a day, he admitted he is finding junk food ads tantalisingly tempting.

He said: "I could probably go and get a chocolate bar at night, whisk it up until it's liquid and then have it, but what is the point?"

Fran, meanwhile, has lost two and a half stone due to changes she has made to her diet and exercise regime.
