TOWIE star quits and won’t return for latest series as she ‘doesn’t like the drama’

The Only Way is Essex is back in style, and this year's series sees some of the stalwart show's familiar faces bring their usual glamour – and drama – to the Dominican Republic.

One star of the show, however, has had enough and has quit and will not be returning for the latest series as she "doesn't like the drama".

The person in question is Chloe Brockett's mum Clare as the star, who made her first appearance on the show in 2019, has bowed out.

Chloe, 21, will remain on the programme, despite her future on the show being in doubt after she and co-star Ella Rae Wise, 22, were involved in a brawl at a nightclub.

During an Instagram Q&A this week Chloe confirmed that her mum would not be returning to TOWIE, after a fan asked: "Will your mum appear in Towie?"

Chloe replied: "Not this series… she doesn't like being involved in the drama anymore! X."

The former girlfriend of ex-Love Islander Jack Fincham is known to be very close with her mum, and after she wished her a happy birthday earlier this year, social media users were shocked at how much they looked alike.

In a snap that Chloe posted, she could be seen wearing a figure-hugging brown dress and suede sock boots, whilst her mum, Clare, rocked an olive green jumpsuit with a chunky woven black belt.

Fans flocked to the comments section, with one user writing: “Chloe I can see where you got your dashing good looks from darling, your mother, both gorgeous”

A second wrote: “absolutely gorgeous girls! Mummy looks like your sister!”

A third wrote: “You both look stunning!! beautiful mumma” while another added: “Ahh your mum is a Taurus we’re the best happy birthday to your mummy xx”

It comes after Chloe recently urged her fans not to miss their smear tests after her pal's results showed "abnormal pre cancerous cells".

The Essex beauty took to her Instagram stories as she wrote: "someone very close to me had a routine smear test and the results showed abnormal pre cancerous cells.

"She was referred quickly to hospital for the cells to be removed."

Chloe continued: "At the same time she was told they would perform a biopsy as there was a small chance some cells could be cancerous".

Expressing her fears, the TV star said: "This was obviously worrying and stressful and I'm glad to say that today she received the results to say all the cells were successfully removed and no cancer has been detected," followed by a praying hands emoji.

Urging fans to always be extra cautious, she went on: "Girls PLEASE do not miss your smear tests,

"They take 5 minutes and can save your life. They are available for age age 25+".

To the end her message, Chloe added: "If this person had missed their smear test the results would be very different," with a heart emoji.
