Phillip Schofield, 58, had fans feeling a mix of nostalgia and excitement as he shared some behind the scenes snaps of The Cube studio ahead of its return. The popular ITV game show had an impressive run and was last broadcast in 2015, but it’s set to make a splash on our screens once again very soon.
Well hello my cuboid friend, I’ve missed you

A game show like no other, the aim was to take on The Cube’s deceptively simple, skill based tasks to be in with the chance to win £250,000.
One lucky contender had to brave a series of games while confined in the four walls in the glare of the spotlight, while demonstrating skill, nerve and determination to get through to the next round.
Much like a cat, each contestant gets nine lives to help them through but if they lose them all, they go home empty handed.
It was a huge hit and fans were disappointed to see it go, but now it’s back with a brand new format.
ITV announced last month that they would be rebooting the TV favourite which will offer not only solo missions, but two-player games with people from the same household as well.
And with added pressure comes with an added bonus, with reports that the prize money has been increased to whopping £1million.
There will also be celebrity specials, as famous faces try their hand at battling the intense pressure to win money for charity.
To give fans a little teaser of what’s to come, Phil shared his delight to be back in the old studio.
Posting a series of snaps to his Instagram story, the host shared three photos of the infamous Perspex box as he grinned from ear to ear.
“Well hello my cuboid friend, I’ve missed you,” he wrote.
“This is going to be a fun week. The Cube returns. On telly soon.”
When the news broke of its return last month, Phil was eagerly encouraging people to apply for the forthcoming series.

Ahead of filming, he commented: “The Cube is such a cracking format but with the players now in teams and a whopping million-pound prize fund, it now means this high-pressure environment has just got tougher.
