‘This Is Us’ Stays Steady In Ratings; ‘Roswell’ Reboots Respectably
NBC dominated every hour of Tuesday primetime in the demo, as the return of This is Us (2.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, 7.697 million viewers) and Ellen’s Game of Games (1.7, 6.347M) were the night’s top programs. After which, at 10 PM, New Amsterdam (1.1, 5.674M) led its closest competitor by three tenths of a ratings point.
CBS, meanwhile, took every hour in total viewers with NCIS (1.3, 12.1M), FBI (1.0, 9.33M) and NCIS: New Orleans (0.8, 7.26M).
The CW’s Roswell reboot, aka Roswell, New Mexico (0.4, 1.544M), launched respectably, holding 67% of its The Flash (0.6, 1.676M) lead-in.
ABC’s The Conners (1.3, 6.647M) slipped a tenth week to week in the demo, matching its low to date. From 9-10 PM, Black-ish (0.8, 3.334M) and Splitting Up Together (0.7, 2.643M) equaled their fall finales.
Fox’s Lethal Weapon (0.7, 3.200M) repeated its previous week’s rating, while Gifted (0.5, 1.684M) ticked down a notch.
NBC (1.6, 6.573M) outstripped the competition for the night in the demo; CBS (1.0, 9.564M) led in overall audience. ABC (0.9, 4.083M) came in third, followed by Fox (0.6, 2.442M) and CW (0.5, 1.610M).
