The Walking Dead Judith actress teases epic Negan betrayal of Alpha after infiltrating The Whisperers – The Sun

THE Walking Dead’s youngest series regular may have just blown Negan’s double cross of The Whisperers wide open.

Cailey Fleming, who plays Judith Grimes on the AMC zombie drama, took to the show’s official Instagram page for a live video takeover.

Unsurprisingly the child star was bombarded with questions from fans – and one recurring theme was the villainous masked faction The Whisperers.

Specifically, viewers wanted to know whether Negan proving himself to Alpha was a legitimate betrayal of the allied communities, or whether he was simply infiltrating enemy ranks to take them down from the inside.

In season 10, Negan was forced to complete a series of brutal trials at the hands of Beta, who forced him to dig holes, and battle a group of walkers unarmed.

However he emerged victorious – and fans of the Robert Kirkman comics upon which the show is based are debating if show bosses will remain true to the source material.

In the graphic novels Negan ends up decapitating Alpha after getting her alone, having won her trust.

Fleming seemed to hint that Negan would indeed prove his usefulness during the live stream.

“I think that Judith thinks that it’s a good thing [Negan escaped], because … he was just picking tomatoes, right?” she began.

“He had this bodyguard and all he could do was pick tomatoes and he’d go back in his cell,” she went on.

“But I think that she thinks that he can be useful for the Whisperers, and he could help with the whole Whisperer thing that’s gonna… the Whisperer thing that I can’t talk about.”

Fleming seemed to realise halfway through the chat that she may have said too much, as she began complaining about how hard it was to keep her mouth shut.

“It is like, the hardest thing in the whole entire world, because I like to tell people what’s gonna happen, but I can’t, because I have to keep it all in until the episode comes out,” she added.

“I think that Judith thinks Negan could be helpful. That’s all I’ll say.”

However, Alpha actress Samantha Morton hinted that the second half of season 10 would be even more “brutal” than the comics, so we’ll have to wait and see who ultimately comes out on top.

Elsewhere, Aaron actor Ross Marquand claimed that aliens were behind the zombie virus outbreak in a major nod to the fallen satellite sub-plot.

The Walking Dead returns to FOX on February 24 and will be available stream on NOW TV.
