‘The Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond Announced a New Book, New Store, and More Surprises

The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond has a few surprises in store. The Food Network chef recently announced she is working on a few projects that will delight her fans. Here’s what Showbiz Cheat Sheet knows about Drummond’s plans.

Ree Drummond started her announcement by saying she’s happyJanuary is over. Depending on where you live, January tends to be one of thecoldest months of the year, so we’re not surprised Drummond is glad to leavethe month behind her. “Is it just me, or did it feel as if January lasted 519days?” asked Drummond on The Pioneer Woman blog.“Wait, I know it’s not just me. On social media, at church, everywhere I’vecome in contact with other humans, I kept hearing the same sentiment: Pleaselet January be over! Here onthe ranch, it was a cold, wet, muddy January, and our cars became almost undrivablebecause of the mud that was up in the tires.”

Ree Drummond is planning to update The Pioneer Woman blog

Drummond told her readers she is planning a big surprise forThe Pioneer Woman website. She says the updates will allow her to easily checkin with her fans. “I have a surprise relating to my website that’s coming soon,though–I will let you know when I get closer to relaunching!” Drummond wrote. “I’mexcited about it, because it’s going to make it easier for me to check in withyou here, which was my very first online home and will always be important tome.”

Another store is on the way

Another exciting announcement Drummond made is that abrand-new store is on the way. “I’ll be opening a new store in Pawhuska thisspring,” wrote Drummond. “So excited.” The Food Network star already has an icecream shop, pizza shop, hotel, and restaurant. Whatever she has planned is sureto be a nice addition to her growingempire.

These jeans are a size smaller than I’ve worn for (quite) awhile and even though they were skin tight (as you can probably see) and a long top was required, they buttoned. I attribute this to spending the last month only allowing myself to watch a show I’ve been wanting to watch (one that I’m not going to trivialize by inserting it into this fashion and fitness post) if I did so on my rowing machine. It just took two full seasons for the buttoning to be successful. In other news, Elisabeth Moss is everything.

If you just can’t get enough of Drummond’sbooks, you’re in for a real treat. She also announced she is working on anotherbook. However, it doesn’t seem like this one will be a cookbook. Drummond saysthe book will focus on her family. “I’m writing a book of weird and wackyfamily stories that will be out this fall. I can’t think of a title!” Drummond wrote.“More on this later.”

The last book Drummond wrote is titled The Pioneer WomanCooks: The New Frontier: 112 Fantastic Favorites for Everyday Eating. Inher interview with TulsaWorld, Drummond reflects on what the title of that cookbook means to her.She says the book represents new things that have taken place in her life. Inher book’s introduction, she talks about her two eldest children attendingcollege and the death of her mother-in-law, reports Tulsa World.

Drummond says the title of her book fits what has been happening with her lately. “When I started to examine the recipes that I particularly loved, and how they kind of reflected the new perspectives I’ve had as family and friendships have developed, The New Frontier seemed to sum everything up.”
